Fragile X syndrome - longitudinal outcomes and imaging
Did you have trouble learning to read or to speak when you were younger? Did you have problems in school or other learning difficulties?
If so, you may be eligible to participate in a clinical research study at Stanford University!
We are seeking individuals between the ages of 10-15 who have had a developmental delay or have had learning disabilities to participate as control subjects in research studies exploring the complex relationships among brain development, brain function, environmental influences, and behavior.
We also are seeking individuals diagnosed with: Fragile X syndrome or Turner syndrome
Participation involves a 4 day evaluation that may include:
- Cognitive testing
- Awake MRI scan
- Intensive behavioral intervention of eye contact and social skills

- You will receive an honorarium of $100 for your participation
